Apartment housing, Christchurch

This proposed apartment development on one of Christchurch's main inner city streets and is adjacent to one of the city's historic places. The site incorporates notable trees and a historic brick boundary wall, forming an important element of the inner city streetscape. The proposals focus on optimum sustainability including on-site food production and interior landscape. nrla+ud provided urban design analysis, tree survey and assessment, site planning advice, design concept, tree consevation methodologies and detailed site design.
