Tui Glen Reserve, Henderson

This 12 acre park forms part of the Henderson Creek riparian green corridor and is adjacent to the busy West Wave Aquatic Centre and historic Falls Park. Tui Glen is known as the site of New Zealand’s first motor camp and now includes a number of the original cabins plus the relocated historic McLeod's Cottage.  Nick carried out concept development, detailed design, tender documentation and site monitoring. The design focusses on raingardens, pedestrian, bike and vehicle circulation, and extensive planting.
